You want to be baptized? CONGRATULATIONS! Baptism is a great step of obedience in your walk with Christ as well as a wonderful way to publically declare your personal faith in Jesus to others around you.
When we see baptism in the Bible, we almost always see this pattern: "they believed...and they were baptized..." Baptism, then, was seen as the natural outcome for someone who professed faith in Jesus.
We are excited for you to take this next step. The first thing to do to get you started is to sign up for baptisms by pressing the button below. This will provide you with more information and schedule your baptism.
HOW TO PREPARE
Before you are baptized, we give you the privilege of sharing your grace story through a video testimony. This allows other people to hear how God has moved in and through your life. You will be asked the following questions:
- What is your name and when did you become a disciple of Jesus?
- How did God reveal to you that you were a sinner in need of being rescued?
- What does it mean to you to know that Jesus has forgiven you and given you eternal life/new life?
- Why do you want to be baptized?
The morning of your baptism you will need to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the service you are being baptized at (8:30am for the 9am service or 10:30am for the 11am service). You should park in the West Lot of the CrossPoint Campus and enter through the glass doors on that side of the building. Once inside, signs will direct you to the Creative Arts Hallway (which is across from the Renovation Institute classrooms in our atrium).
If you have any questions or concerns about these logistics, please contact Kim Lackey at 716.631.2636 x283.
God is doing something awesome in your life and we can’t wait to celebrate that with you!
